About WithHoney

The name WithHoney comes from the phrase “you catch more flies with honey than with vinegar”. My family keep bees and it has been a phrase that I have used throughout my career, while training my direct report employees.

I cut my teeth on early Internet service provider America Online in the mid to late 1990s. My career path took me into Customer Service Management in the Telecoms and Internet business at EsatNet/BT Ireland and then to Director level with one of the most popular casual game companies, PopCap Games (remember Bejeweled/Plants vs. Zombies?) now owned by EA Games.

After a career break, I upskilled in Digital Marketing (SEO, Social Media and PR) with a qualification from the Digital Marketing Institute. Then, I worked as a PR/Marketing Manager at The Moat Theatre prior to the pandemic.

Recognising a gap in the market for creative people, I started my own business WithHoney in 2021. My goal is to support creative people who don’t have the bandwidth for the online world and all its distractions.
